Welcome to Stash Alpha #3

 

CLIENT DOWNLOAD: (If downloading through Chrome, ignore the warning. The files are safe!)

INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Download the appropriate client for your operating system.
  2. Unzip somewhere on your computer. 
  3. Run Stash.exe (We recommend you make a shortcut of this file on your desktop).

Your Account name and Password will be sent to you via email. If you backed Stash at $50 or higher and have not received anything, please email us at the address on our contact page.

Important Notes/Rules for Alpha #3:

1) Have fun!

This is always the #1 most important rule for any Frogdice game. Part of having fun is becoming part of the community, so make sure you chat with people in game and discuss things on the forums.

2) This is still early Alpha.

This is still far from a truly “playable” version of Stash. There has been very little art/graphical polish, minimal animations, and only scattered sound/music. Every game feature will receive many iteration passes over the next few months. The final game will be very different from this Alpha, but you can start to see the direction we are headed.

3) This is a private Alpha. No streaming or video recording please…

… unless you have express permission from Frogdice.

Please do not share the client or this web site address. You are of course welcome and encouraged to tell your friends about Stash and your experiences. We have chosen to go with no NDA and simply trust our players to honor this request. We plan to allow streaming/video recording in future Alphas or Betas.

Screenshots are fine and are encouraged! Use them to spread the word about Stash and get friends excited about the game too!

4) Alpha #3 is focused on the following features:

  • Character Creation: We have spruced up some things in character creation. Give it a good look please.
  • More Abilities: Every class gained at least 5 new abilities. Most abilities still have no visual/audio feedback.
  • Armor Matters: Combat is going to be significantly more challenging now as armor is not just cosmetic. This means monsters are going to be harder to kill, and until you get some armor you are going to feel very squishy compared to them.
  • Massive Combat UI Improvements: In addition to some new battlefields, you can now rotate the camera view and really manage combat a lot better.
  • Askagard: The city of Askagard now exists in (nearly) all its glory for you to explore.
  • House Decorating and Expanding: This got a pretty significant pass to improve the UI and functionality. Decorate your house inside and out. Build add-on rooms to expand your house. Go nuts!
  • Shops: In addition to shop UI improvements they also sell items.
  • Party Window Improvements: The functionality of the party window has been expanded.
